About Me

Diana Diroy is a documentary filmmaker, video producer, editor, photographer and youth educator. She has a love for storytelling both behind the lens and in the edit room. Diroy was selected for the Karen Schmeer Diversity in the Edit Room Program in 2018. She edited the documentary Water Warriors, which screened at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and DocNYC. Her cinematography work for the documentary short, Libre, screened at the 2019 Sundance Film Fesitval and Hot Docs. Her work reflects her interests in climate change, social and environmental justice, immigration and gender equality. When she’s not working on short films, she travels, shoots, and edits for CNN Travel. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Diroy resides in New York where she continuously strives to collaborate and make magic with other creatives.
