Seeds of Ancestral Memory is a short documentary film that emerged from a desire to explore how seeds- humble and often overlooked – carry the stories of migration, memory and resilience.
It is a film about immigrant farmers and their descendents living in Northern California, who preserve their heritage and honor their own stories and ancestry, by cultivating seeds from their homelands in the face of systematic erasure.
